Outback Steakhouse

The hamburgers we ordered and Blooming Onion were very delicious. I got the regular Outback hamburger with extra Onions and added Bacon and My BF got the Blooming Onion Burger and added Bacon also. They were Soooo Delicious, we will be back. We also signed up for the Outback Rewards, visit 4x and you get perks.

If you are in the mood for steak, this is a pretty good option. A fun environment, a favorite with the locals. Fast friendly service and the restaurant is always clean. The steakes are very good and the Blooming Onion is everything they say it is! Don't forget to leave Room for the very delicious appetizers and the deserts as well. This is a great location, easy to get in-and-out of the parking lot. Plan on spending about $25-35 per person including beverages and sharing desserts. If you want an inexpensive night out, then just come here and order some appetizers. They are really big enough for 2 if you would like a light meal.

The watriess that attended us today was rude, not attractive, not welcoming the food was bland and for the price and the well known name this should of been a 5 star rating. I will never eat at the outback again located on Jamacha.

Happy hour here with my girlfriends, we all really enjoyed the time punch, a lot, lol. The appetizers were good, lunch special, ckin tacos, was okay, but will be better next time when I tell them to hold back the cabbage, lol. Service was pretty good & the waiter really nice.

Always a pleasure. I love the wedge salad and the bread. The entree was great as well. Sat in the bar area and received very good service.

We were in on a Friday evening. Happened to notice staff setting up tables for what we figured was three big groups. Ended up being one very large group of approximately 50 guests. Our service was not affected by this fact which surprised and pleased myself and my husband. Kudos to the staff who were on point and pleasant, also to the kitchen staff. who sent out

I order the shrimp and lobster deal the shrimp was bigger then the lobster tail was not worth over $30 dollars. Service was great food not so good...

I received a generous gift card from my mother-in-law , so with my son going to visit his grandpa for the rest of his Christmas vacation , the wife and I had an impromptu date night. It'd been some time since I'd had some Outback so it was a nice change of pace. Had the medium rare prime rib and it was delish. My wife had the grilled salmon and she loved it. Service was fantastic.

I have just had the poorest example of a Cobb salad ever. For starters no boiled egg. Secondly, I couldn’t find any bacon. The lettuce could only be called bite size if you had the mouth of an elephant, and finally there was only enough dressing to barely cover the top none for the rest of the large chunks of lettuce. I couldn’t send it back because this was a “to go” salad.

We went for cheese cake. We had the lobster shrimp crab cake combo. Excellent! The sauteed mushrooms were fabulous. And the blooming onion as always a winner. Oh and the cheese cake. Great love that warm Carmel. Go to Outback Mate

Service started off a little bit shaky but our server, Michael, ended up delivering some fantastic customer service. Food was delicious, there was one error that was immediately rectified. Overall, a very enjoyable experience for all!

The food was great!!! Cooked to specification. We were seated right away. Our server, Justin, was awesome!!! He was courteous, kind and quick and got our order correct. He made our visit there an enjoyable one.

Just stopped in for a drink at the bar, while I waited for a perscription to be filled at drug store. Bartender was friendly, poured a great drink too! Glassware was clean, lots of sports fans in the bar along with families. Would recommend this place.

They only had like 1 server, super stingy on bread which is the best part about coming here, the food was sub par for the price. If they weren't so stingy on bread I might go back but they see a table of 3 and only give 1 bread at a time when asked for multiple time.

All side dishes served cold. Waiter left the table full of empty glasses. Steak wasnt bad but not very good either. Could have gone to Sizzler for better food.

We went to try it out again and order off there steak menu and man it was so good I forgot to take a picture my wife got the bone in rib eye and I had the porterhouse they were both great but the bone in rib eye was better I recommend it very much. We also had the seared ahi and it was very good as well

Service was great at this Outback and the steak sizes were exactly what we expected. Everything was brought promptly and the drinks weren't too watered down or strong. Everything was what we wanted and just a little bit more so good on you, Outback. We will be back.

Awesome place to bring my son to eat after a long day of baseball practice

When ordering online because of the current epidemic the hostess was kind and understanding. She helped me order smoothly without any problems. Definitely recommend.

Great meal for my husband's birthday. We had the best waiter named Mike. He was awesome. Thanks Outback.

Good food! A bit pricey but great for a special occasion. Steakhouse mac and cheese is great. Blooming onion is too greasy.

Unfortunately the steak was severely overcooked this visit. It was 5:30pm and was slammed busy. Normally they are better.

Went to dinner Thursday, early evening ...4:30ish. Not impressed. Slow service (and the restaurant was less than half full). The food was tasty but less (serving size) than we expected. Was particularly disappointed with the twin lobster tails. Would be more accurate to call them large Langostinos. To top it off, I'm pretty sure my "lobsters" meal sat around while my wife's meal was still being prepared (the lobsters were partly cold and the side dish was cold). Had a similar experience at this location about a month ago (different meals, same problems). We probably won't go back to this location.

Pleasant staff. The food was what we expected good and inexpensive. The atmosphere is wood, seriously a lot of wood!

Not so good. I was getting my car detailed and thought "I'll get a burger at Outback while I wait!" Mistake! Good looking burger, right? Dry as the desert sun. No flavor. I tasted the cheese more than the meat. Next time I'll go to the sushi place across the street.

I visit this spot a lot since I work close by. I love how the service is always good and they keep the place well kept all the time. Rates are fair and they serve sizeable portions.

Arrived and waited 5 minutes for a Hostess to show up and seat me. I was then informed that my waitress would be there soon. Ten minutes pass with no waitress so the hostess handled our drinks. Finally the waitress showed up and handled our order. The food overall was okay, my steak was a little too charred but had decent flavor my friend ordered a burger with no tomato and recieved tomato. I'll close this review out with saying how happy I am that Texas Roadhouse will be opening their doors soon.

We went there for lunch and was directed to the bar area which was fine but there was only one person working in that area and she was very overwhelmed. The food was good but when you only have one person and little to no help it really wound up being disappointing when it takes so long just to get our drinks and an incredible amount of time before our food was ready and at our table. Outback..... if you're going to be open, have enough staff to accommodate. I do recall the hostess being completely bored just standing there. Our waitress said out loud that she needed to give free drinks.... beer out because of how slow she was. She offered nothing to us for her being so behind with our entire order.

Great food and great service (even at rhe drive up...)

I've been to a couple of Outbacks in San Diego and they are all about the same. Let me explain. When an Outback near our house first opened many years ago we were so excited because it was the first real restaurant in our area besides a lot of fast food types. I think we were one of their first customers. Over the years we have continued to frequent this establishment but with less and less enthusiasm. We both order the same thing each time so I think we are really experts having to do with the Victoria Filet. The size of the steak has gone from thick and round to a bit bigger and a lot thinner. Consequently it seems they are always overcooked. The seasoning isn't as good as it used to be. I go to a steak house for a good steak and I'm just sorry they arent as good and more expensive than they used to be. I dont mind the price increase so much. What I really hate is the reduced quality and this seems to follow the other Outbacks in our area.

Best Steakhouse around in El Cajon

There was a problem with the printer and the cook didn't get our order so we waited for about an hour for our food. The manager was very nice and compensated us. At the food was very good.

Normally I love this place. Not tonight. Outback lost our reservation. Service was slow to start. Multiple drinks sent back because the were made incorrectly or tasted bad. Outback was out of mushrooms, broccoli, and my ribeye was tough. Hopefully this was a one time event...

The people are great. It was packed and had to wait about 30 minutes to get seated The wait staff was very niceBut the Prime rib was tasteless, tough and terrible. Like eating a dishrag dipped in meat sauce. I like my prime rib rare, and it was. But tasteless

WARNING! HEALTH HAZARD!I found a dead cockroach in my salad and started vomiting and was sick to my stomach. DO NOT eat from here ever again. Be careful not to eat at this restaurant.

Always good food and fast, friendly service. Easy to locate off of Jamacha. Although, I know we don't eat off the floor, but the floor does STILL need to be professionally cleaned, it's very sticky & the only reason I rated it 4*.Four months ago, the floors badly needed cleaning or re-surfacing & I rated it a 4*. Happy to say they've replaced the flooring! So I've changed my rating to a 5*. Good job!!

Delicious food tonight! Fun atmosphere with attentive and polite staff.

This location is a little out of the way for most of us, but it's pretty awesome. I happened to visit in the early afternoon on a Thursday, so it was quiet, but the staff was still attentive and very friendly. There were people at about half a dozen tables, but no one else in my section and the server still came by as often as she would if the section were packed. Great late lunch at a great location. Will definitely be back.

Omg we ordered a porterhouse steak and it was the most tender and juicy steak I've ever had! Melted in my mouth! Yummy!

We had about 30 people for a birthday. Our server who primarily worked alone did an absolutely phenomenal job. The appetizers were wonderful, especially the brussel sprouts. I had the Outback burger which I ordered medium, and it was rather dry, and my fries were rather salty. My salad was excellent

Sat in the bar area thinking it would be faster. It wasn't. Meal was okay. Steak was cooked more than my preferred medium well. Broccoli was cold, but that hard to keep warm so...service was a little slow. They never did bring my cheesecake. :(

Great atmosphere. Very good service. Food is above average but I can't say it's great. Had steak and lobster. Steak a little tuff. Lobster about the size of a craw fish. Have had better at better prices. Would still go back and hope for better results.

Our Hostess, Sundi, was great! We originally had a problem because Mother’s Day was so incredibly busy. A few days later, Sundi made everything right. You could tell she takes pride in her work and actually cares for people.Thank you!

I love the blooming onions and the waiter from the other night was on his a game (dont remember the guys name though😣)

They were out of bread and didn't say anything till after we had ordered. They also brought out both of our soups and salads at the same time so the soup got cold and salad got warm. They also didn't have our reserves table ready and had another party sitting there. This is the first time the service has been like this so I would say overall good job.

The last time I was there they forgot my butter bread and steak sauce for my meal this time I ordered curbside. It took way too long to get my food 30 minutes longer than they said and I ended up having to go inside because the guy at curbside didn't know how to do his job. And I have an injured knee and it was not very cool to me not a good. Experience for me at all.
